Classic Retained Search

Retained search is the most preferred service by our clients. It consists of an exclusive arrangement wherein the client company works with SES to fill a particularly senior or urgent need within the company. This exclusive contract option guarantees that each candidate presented to a client company will not be presented by SES anywhere else until such time as the client company

has decided against their candidacy. Our commitment is to treat each search with diligence and integrity completely focusing on the needs of our client for whom we are working and the candidate whom we are presenting.

Because the initial four to eight weeks of any search is when the most energy and time is committed the first two payments cannot be cancelled or returned either in whole or in part once the search has begun.

Exclusive non-retained

This type of search involves an exclusive arrangement between the client and SES with only a small initial financial commitment but a larger end commitment. Aside from the financial commitment and fee amount, this option in every other aspect remains the same as the classic retained search. We have found this to be popular with our smaller clients who cannot risk the up-front financial responsibility but who require the same diligence and attention for their search.

Contingency

This option is generally used for junior positions with no real urgency of hire. There is no money paid until the candidate has been identified and has accepted the position. The agency is not always able to allocate resources to these searches at all times.

Consulting Services:

SES looks to form strategic partnerships to augment the services we provide for our clients. Consulting is a relatively inexpensive alternative used during the closing process. Quite often client companies need quick, up to date information regarding compensation or benefits but don't require the insertion of a third party into the process. The guidance and expertise of a professional recruiter at this point can be essential for a positive outcome.

Reference Checks

There may be candidates that have come directly to the company but background checks still need to take place. The typical reference check only speaks with the contacts provided by the candidate. Although important, such checks only scratch the surface. At SES, we use 25 years of industry knowledge and quality relationships to get the full background story of the candidate. This takes a great deal of time to do correctly and is not easy to do. Because at SES we are committed to very high standards and look to the next time we will work with a client or candidate, we take the time for quality due diligence. The results speak for themselves with very high retention rates of our placements.

Compensation and Benefit Analysis

Quite often client companies need quick, up to date information regarding compensation or benefits but don't require the insertion of a third party into the process. We get our clients the information they need to make a compelling and successful offer.

Competitor Statements

Who is out there looking for the same talent you are? Knowing who is shopping and what they are offering can help you make a stronger and more compelling offer.

Relocation Assistance

If the position requires the candidate to relocate, we will help assist by providing cost of living comparisons, locating Realtors, selecting moving companies and even analyzing schools for the candidate’s children.

Fees and Expenses

Steele Executive Search is well aware of and attentive to the problem of substantially increasing costs of drug design. With this in mind we keep our fees and expenses at a minimum attempting instead to trade on partnerships and mutual commitments that can lead to new creative financial solutions. We no longer list fees on our web site preferring instead to discuss with each individual client a unique and customized program that works for them.
